showing his very bad mood...

I have noticed that my caimen also has a yellow coloring in the mouth. Do you know what causes that?
I really don´t know, I guess it´s his natural color, it´s been always yellow...
best wishes
Rick
Man, if you need to use those leather gloves when he's this small, you'll really enjoy trying to grab him when he's 4 feet. Nice tank by the way!

I know what you mean, but I do need those gloves... he is really fast when he bites... he has already biten me several times with the gloves, and I really don´t enjoy bites...
as you say, it will be very fun tring to grab him AT 4 FT...
I´ll need to be faster than him to avoid his bites
good look

Big Tank.. Here's a helpful tip for you if you're tired of being bitten, just throw a towel over the caimans head so he can't see you.. Might save you a scar or 2.
Matt
A towel thrown over their heads prevents them seeing you to deliver a very nasty bite, plus it helps calm them during handling or relocation. However, I am sure you probably knew that. He seems to be getting bigger. Keep it up!!
