My wierd mutt dwarf CA BCI...

Kestrel Aug 02, 2005 03:34 PM

This little guy is going on 2 years of age, and is right at 3ft in length, and still very slender. He's been fed very well his entire life, so whatever he's a mix of, it has to be something small LOL. He was originally purchaced for me by my boyfriend at a local show, while I was out of town, but he said it was marked as a Cancun locale, which has since been proven otherwise. I'm thinking he may be either a Cancun x Nicaraguan, or maybe Nicaraguan x Sonoran? who knows. He sure is pretty though. His reds and oranges are coming in like crazy now. He has an odd pattern starting at his neck, and the first part of his body is a light buff tan color, then it moves to red/orange around his middle.

Your little boa is very very beautiful, I was just scanning through the forums and when I saw that first picture it stopped my right in my tracks. Its head and body pattern is very striking, just an all around gorgeous boa! ( can you tell I’m in love with your boa yet?)
And your photo skills are very good to, some of the best shots I’ve seen around here lately.

I am very impressed...I only hope my camera is capable of shots like that. I know I'm not, but I sure hope to grow into it if it is.
What type of camera are you using?

Thanks I use a digital Canon EOS Rebel, those pics taken with the stock 14-55mm lens, and nuetral density filter.. Shaded sunlight on a semi cloudy day.

Those pics are so intense I can see two heads in the eye of the snake in the 6th pic. Cool looking snake, too, by the way.
