Old cypress mulch?

I found an old bag of cypress mulch today in one of my drawers which I keep my snake stuff in. I'm pretty sure it's 1-2 years old, and was wondering if it would still be alright to use.

Should be fine though maybe a bit dry. Just spritz it down a bit with water.
