cheap durangos?
What do you think that is??
Looks like a dark phase Mexmex X Greeri cross......Maybe even a little Thayeri in there......Who knows??
You are absolutely right. This kinda stuff is absurd.
They should at least find out what they actually have before they put a title on them and try and sell them.
I hope some newbie doesn't buy it and by a Robert Applegate Greeri and breed them together.........

Looks like there is some honduran milksnake in it to me. ..mike
The black head tells me alterna or thayeri but zonata, ruthveni or arcifera are also possible candidates.
The banding doesn't even resemble greeri's diamond shape and could be thayeri, ruthveni, arcifera or alterna. The fact that there are crossovers also could indicate zonata or pyromelana.
The deep red seems like it would have come from mex mex, ruthveni or arcifera but could also be from thayeri, alterna, zonata or pyromelana.
The dark gray looks like something from mex mex or ruthveni too but also could have come from thayeri, alterna or just maybe quite possibly from greeri.
There should be a hybrid classified section IMO it would probably prevent alot of arguments and lend legitimacy to them. Whoever is selling those could also probably get alot more than $100 for the pair if they were sold as hybrids.
A true blue "MIXICANA".......
And yes that sort of mixing and matching could and would get a much higher price tag. I think most of these mis labelled ads are not done on purpose....Some people are just plainly unaware they have a cross or hybrid because they got said animals in trade or purchased them wholesale......Like Kingaz said....They need some Mexicana 101..........
John Lassiter
Have you ever seen these hybrids people call Mix-Mex? This one looks to me like it has lots of milksnake phase thayeri and possibly lots of other kinds mexicana complex too. I see possible Mex-Mex, Ruthveni, Alterna, and who knows what else. It's funny, but the one mexicana complex snake it least looks like is a greeri!
Greg
You are right Greg....I certainly see no Greeri now.....LOL
I have seen the Mix-mex...Here in Texas they were called Mixicana back in the day.
They are nice eye candy, but they sure can pollute pure lines of Mexicana......
John Lassiter
I would hate to see some of my Mexicana get tainted....
