Frozen mouse question

How long is it safe to keep frozen animals to feed?? any advice here would help out. thanks in advance

well i never fed my old monitors frozen rodents.but i recently started buying them for all my snakes and i have had a large quantity in my fridge since the begining of this year that is now almost gone but they have not seemed to cause any harm to the snakes and i occasionaly give some to my friend for his savanna and it has not seemed to affect it at all.hope this helps

guess it depends on how it is packaged and sealed. Also do you mean by the reptiles terms or by USDA terms.

Frozen meat in human consumption terms is said to be 4-6 months.

In a deep freeze rodents will be fine for at least a year, I'd hope your supply would be gone by then I can't imagine them actually becoming dangerous, it's not like there is bacteria colonizing at that temp. After 3 months certain components have broken down(namely vitamins) and the nutritional value is starting to be compromised.
All in all if frozen rodents are the main food component, keep them no longer than a few months, but older ones can still be used if they are not the sole source of nutrition.
