This is by far the best substrate I have ever used and not only that it practically lasts forever if you just spot clean. Its off of creature travelers.com. THey make it out of coconut husk. Here is the link http://www.creaturetravelers.com/Products/ProductsGroups/pages/reptiles2.htm

My tegu loves it He burys himself in it every night when it goes to bed unless he chooses to use the hide box.
