Does anyone have a L. t. celaenops from west of Sanderson?

Robert Haase Aug 03, 2005 03:23 PM

I'm still trying to get a wc female of any age from the long cut just west of town. One of the few snake species I care to keep anymore...

And yes, I already know Roy E. has one from in front of his place.

Did you check with Troy Hibbits? I think I remember Marla [who catches most of Troy's snakes anyway!!!] finding one west of Sanderson of few years back but not sure it was a female.

...I would imagine that since I know Troy he would have let me know if he had one. I'll contact him anyway just in case.

Hey Bob. I can't help with the Sanderson animal, but are you keeping any Luna Vista celaenops? I have a female that I collected at the bottom of the south hill, south side, if you are interested. She was gravid when I collected her but I have not got a mate for her.
