Corn snake maturity

xenophon Aug 03, 2005 04:28 PM

I recently bought an Amelanestic hypo for snow female, and a blizzard male. They have both been out of the shell for about 3 months and are eating regularly. I am intent on breeding them both together, and i was wondering exactly how long it takes for corn snakes to mature to the point of giving a sucessful clutch. Also could it be possible to have blizzard, snow, and amel. babies in there clutch?

not as early as ive read on 2 other recent posts on 6 month/olds in july.
id say because they will have a good long first year to put on size they should go in the spring of 07'.
generally speaking it takes 3 monthes from copulation to hatching.are people beating the clock and stimulating them to spawn in the winter???Chris

I bought Hope in April...She was only 12" so I seriously doubt she was a year old, especially since she has grown about 10" since then....
