So far this spring my chinese firebellies have laid no fertile eggs and 12 infertile eggs. But, what is really weird is that there are two males aggressively competing for females. Is this odd? If so, is there anything i can do about it?

It is unusual. I've never heard of females being together with courting males, and then laying 100% infertile eggs. I don't know of anything you can do. I assume you know for sure they are infertile and that they are newt eggs?
Im sure these are unfertile newt eggs. I have raised a few dozen of these little guys before from eggs before
