Say one was to start a boa project, would it be benifical to start with Sharp strain albinos since there are not many out there? What is the general feeling about the Sharp strain albinos?

I have heard that Sharp strain albinos are more rare, from what I have seen they bring a higher price, and keep their color better as adults. A lot of Kahl strain albinos turn a solid yellow cream color as adults & lose red pigment. This is just my opinion, anyone else have one, as I don't own any albino yet and base my opinion off of pics and info on web

The Sharpe Albino is still more pricy then the normal Khal Albino and many feel it's color is better, I personally like them Both. the problem with the Sharpe strain is simply this....
The Khal strian of albino got the jump on thing first for whatever reason, so most of your multi-genetic morphs such as snows and sunglows are based on the Khal strain of Albino. the two lines are not interchangable and if you start with the Sharpe line and want to breed it to a Snow het, then you are a few generations back before you can produce what you want. This will hold true for most of the albino related morphs.
Now, over tiem the Sharpe line will be brought up to speed with the morphs and you may even be the guy who does it, just as long as you have this info up front and don't get upset because "no one ever mentioned that!"
