Hello, fellow herpers. First time to post on this forum but not last. Im a hoosier herper. Indiana for those of you westerner,s out there in cali that might not know what a hoosier is.I love reading and seeing your,s texas, and florids herp field notes and photo.BUT i hardly ever hear about herping the midwest. Its a great place to have a herpin h... of time also.THE sad thing is the laws and regulations are getting out hand, and herpers from new york tocali from michigan to texas need to pull together and join forces to stop some of these animal rights fish and game federal and state people from making new rules and regulations it seems every other month hell everytime i go into the field herpin i feel like im breaking somethin .Its crazy.Im going to be honest, i think the day will come when field collecting reptiles will be outlawed period. Not just here but your state's also.I love HERPIN wether its cruisin back roads or flippin the tin.Its somthing i want my two year old and four year to injoy when there my age '37' and proud. But iknow those times may not happen.Certian rules and regulations are just but as herpers are voices and thoughts needs to be heard also, dont you think .the bad thing is atleast here and most i think every state ,FISH & GAME ARE NOT AN ELECTED OFFICE SO IT'S NOT AS SIMPLE TO VOTE THEM OUT.I know its along post but if the only way i can vent frustration and anger so be it.To read indiana's herp laws or hunting and fishing laws go to the laws and cites forum.......................................... thanks for listening hope to see youin the field Fred
