cb's yts are much better behaved though are somewhat wriggly compared to the other subs........
I agree with you Dan.
I have to agree that CB YT Cribos are easier to work with, but this holds true for most any species.
My experience with both CB and WC YT Cribos leads me to believe you cannot simply base disposition on the species or origins alone, as such tendencies vary from individual to individual. I have WC specimens that are puppy tame and CB specimens that are full of piss and vinegar. One thing I can say for certain, the YT Cribos are generally more “high strung” then the rest of the Dry clan…
Best regards,
Jeff

Although some individuals can be tame as can be, as a general rule, I believe yt's are MUCH more aggressive than other subs.
If you want a "tame" yt, I'd get a young cb, and handle it getly often as it grows. I have had some large adult cb yellowtails that were just as mean as wild caughts because they were not handled.
Yt's are high strung snakes.
They are not the snake to get if you want a "lap tame" snake.
I think they are fun...get the old adrenaline going every time you work the cage.
Extremely "labile" is how I characterize most of them..Some just plain evil and some as gentle as Easterns or Texans..Most are somewhere in between and need to be handled carefully each time. Never know what's going to come out of the cage, Jekyl or Hyde!!
