I've decided to construct a terrarium for my fiance's birthday as she has been asking why she can't have frogs (her passion) when I have so many snakes (my passion). I've kept amphibians (salamanders mostly, but some GTFs) before and have researched many frog species options to bring to her. She says she wants small and colorful. I brought up dart frogs and she was so so on it. The culturing fruitflies worried her I think. Not a big deal to me; rodents are a challenge in my opinion.
I've looked around and she has been difficult to appease. She says we'll decide when we go to Daytona. Well, that can change how the terrarium needs to be set up and I want that mostly set up by the time we leave. So I was hoping to get some input on frog species that were small and colorful. I suggested amazon milks or white's but she felt they got too big (~4 inches). So I need some options since many classifieds just show froglets or subadults with little listed on their max size and terrarium requiremnts.
