When you guys talk about useing human heat pads, are you talking about the little cotton ones for like people with back pain or am I missing something? Because I was looking round wally world and couldn't find anything but the cotton ones and they all have a 2 hour timer.... what do you guys use?

yes human heating pads....... try a pharmacy they do make heating pads with out the timer, but i think now they are a bit hard to find.
