Recently I did some wandering is some forest areas alone on a weekend afternoon and got some neat pics.
This box turtle is photographed exactly as I found it.
This garter snake froze in it’s position and didn’t even flinch as I layed down next to it and took pics. This is EXACTLY as he was when I first saw him.
BINGO! I saw my first ever Ohio cave salamander. No clues at all as to the locality of this guy. They are a protected species. But, needless to say I was very very excited to find my first specimen in my home state!
