Help me put some hair on his chest!

mod0522 Aug 04, 2005 03:48 PM

Hello all, my male dragon is just over a year old. Hes a really beautiful red and is in great condition. Ive had him and his mate, of roughly the same age, for some time now. My problem is He is showing absolutely no interest in her, no territorial displays and is just way to passive. I have/had high hopes of breeding them, but this little fella just doesnt seem man enough! I've been keeping dragons for about 4 years now and have never had a male that was too passive. Is there any way i can get him into the mood? any help will be greatly appreciated. oh by the way ive already tried using a mirror, and even put another male in his enclosure to attempt to stimulate him with no success!!!

Thanks- Dom

You could try housing them seperately for awhile and them putting them back together only in breeding season and then seperating them again. I have heard of male dragons not having intreset in females if thye are housed with them year round.
