This developed over the past few days. my goldie is 5 months old and has yet to shed. she has a hidebox and a rough log, and a comfortable waterbowl in a cooler spot. i pulled her from her shelter after she had been hiding for 3 days and observed foggy white eyes, but not the pink belly indicative of a shed starting. scales on the head seem loose, and her health seems quite sound. i just wanted general opinion from you guys to make sure she is starting a shed and not developing cooties. i'll see if i can get a couple pics on for effect, thanks for helping!

Yes - sounds like she is in shed - normally I'll see the pink belly first then the snake will darken and the pink will be gone then the eyes turn blue and then they clear and then shed. Make sure that you have good humidity and leave her be - she'll do fine.
