I will be going on vacation for a week, the last week in august, and my 2 year old bearded dragon will be here alone.. I know it would be best to have someone care for her everyday, but not many people I know are very keen on touching lizards, crickets, etc.. :-p idk why tho! lol.

So if I feed her a ton of crix and leave her all week alone is this ok? we are having some one come over to feed our cats I think, so they might be able to check on her and maybe feed her more crix.. :-/ or veggies. With no attention, or never seeing aNyone for a whole week, OK for her?
If so, how many crickets should i feed before i leave.. ???

If your lights are not already on a timer then i would set them on one so they turn ona nd off at the appropriate times by themselves. Then i would premake a veggie meal for every day and put them in seperate baggies in the fridge labeled clearly. If you can get the sitter to feed a few crickets that would be great but if not your beardie shuld be fine with just veggies for a week. Ask the sitter to rinse the veggies in water before feeding them to your dragon and that should take care of the water needs for the week.

Give your beardie a nice long soak to hydrate her right before you leave and feed her a nice big meal.

I wouldnt say you NEED someone everyday, but didnt you say someone was gonna be there feeding the cats anyway? They mightas well give veggies to the BD too.

You could probably just have someone come every other day or at least 2 times during the week to feed her.
