Just got this female orange thayeri from my buddy in San Diego. She's eating rat fuzzys voraciously.

no split pinks for this guy, he eats peachies thawed. The split pink thing is only for a few feedings and then they can take a full sized pink without any problems. All 4 snakes i held back last year are eating big peachies or small fuzzys without hesitation every 4-5 days.

Oh....It is a 2004....I guess I should read better.....LOL

Nice looking girl there Russ.
Did your bud in San Diego produce this himself?
I wonder if it has Vivid blood in it....OR did he mix and match different lines?
Gorgeous snake man.......I like the "no head pattern" on her....Also she has lost the grey on her face or never had it.
Certainly a good score.....

no he didn't produce it in fact he was at a snake show down there and bought off of someones table as an unproven female. My only concern was that it ate F/T and that is no longer a concern. The breeding part is a sinch

Thanks for the compliments. I also received today a VR Orange male 2004 model that will be her breeding companion. I got it from Josh at Colubrid Concepts. It was too good looking to pass on.

Take care,
Russ

That girl is a screamer. Will she be ready to breed next year?

RussBates Aug 06, 2005 12:55 PM

yes she'll be ready for 06. Should be another killer breeding season in 2006.
