iso Aug 04, 2005 07:00 PM

i just moved an parasite positve female to the following bin: http://www.sterilite.com/Category.html?Section=Storage&ProductCategory=35##

it looks really nice.

would a female dragon be able to stay in something like this her whole life? Is there another tub that is recommended for a single dragon?

Id love to put them side by side and be able to use a single shop light to uvb a group..and rack/shelve them this way.

thanks guys!

I am sure a juvie would be ok - but does anybody use these for adults? Sorry to be a pest.

I worked at museum with a herp collection of 200 , plastics were a way of life! Volunteers and glass aquariums just don't mix. I haven't used them for something that require UV though, mostly snakes in snake racks, amphibians, and tubs for turtles. BTW: I can honestly say that Sterilite boxes are crap, if you want something to last and made in the USA, go for Rubbermaid

the plastic tubs work great for hatchlings and small juvies. Large juvies, subadults, and adults will need to be moved to large cages. Some large juvies do okay in a very large plastic tub, but by the time they are sub adults they need something way bigger.

Sub-adults and adults need a floor area of about 4' x 2'. Height is debated we do our heights at 16" to keep them close to the UVB light.
