lights or pads?

i think i posted this 2 days ago but i can not find it anywhere. funny huh. anyway what are you guys using to heat your boa inclosures. ohh and what do you guys use as waterdishes?

Pads over lights. Most snakes don't care much for bright light, feeling more secure in the shade.
I use newspaper as a substrate and put folded extra sheets over the pad (pad is under the glass)so it is not too hot. You can also use a thin tile or piece of cardboard on the pad side. If you use shavings, extra shavings won't help because they could burrow and lay right over the pad. If you have a temp gun, aim it at the glass over the pad to make sure it is not too hot.
If you must use lights, go with red or black.

Here it is again. You can use the plastic nuts and bolts bins they sell at home depot. They make great hides and water bowls too. I like the huge size plastic dog bowls they sell at walmart, but I have found them at Chase Pitkin stores alot cheaper. Thanks Andy
