Why,Well for one thing they could very possibly make one another very sick!Bothe animals carry different germs that doesnt affect themselves but could kill the other, each have differnt enzymes an what not to digest their meals an others that someone more knowladgeable could explain,an most of all one could kill an eat the other!Hope this helps,

The reason being is that its totally different breeds species if you cannot breed them dont keep them together just my thought

the problem with that is both of these species have different requirements, both in housing and probably in heating and humidity (im guessing at that part since I have not owned a carpet). another problem is stress, to you they may look fine but making two different species of snake live together 24/7 is probably putting a lot of stress on both of them ( they may fight over the best hide spots, or best heat source, ect.). wouldn't it be terrible to come home one day and find that one had either been eaten by the other or seriously injured in a fight.just because they don't look aggressive towards each other right now doesn't mean they will not be in the future. another problem is diease, having both so close together means that if one gets ill you can count on the other getting sick too, which will double your vet bills.
think of it like this, you could probably survive if you were locked in, say, your bedroom with... a gorrilla (they are apes just like us, so it would be around the same as having your rtb and jcp together). but don't you think that one of you is going to become dominant over everything, and you'll eventually fight over things since there is so little room to get away from each other? if you were stuck in a room, while being constantly dominated by a gorrilla for your whole life do you think you'd ever become stressed or unhappy or sick? thats probably about how your snakes feel. I know thats a weird way to associate your snakes situation, but that was the best I could think of that would fit well.
in the end, if your going to commit it caring for the well being of your snakes for their whole lives it is only fair to also commit to providing them with proper, individual housing.
