You might be thinking of the Amazon Tree Boa. They do get larger than two feet, but are a smaller snake. Also they dont sit in the trademark posture of green tree pythons or emerald tree boas. They can be tricky to keep as well...
Candoia. Maybe able to find them under tree boas I think.
I know they are not green, but they do have somewhat of a cimilar head structure maybe? lol
These are the only ones I can think of in that area that would be about 2-3ft.
Other than that, the sand boas, rubbers and rosies look nothing like a Green Tree or any other constrictor in shape or size or pattern and color.
Amazon Tree Boas are thinner than Green Trees, but get very long.. over 5 feet.
Hope that helps!
take care, Joe

Bromliad, of "Banana" Boas are a fairly aboreal boa that stays very small. They are kinda a grey to olive tone with dark spots.
The only breeder that I am aware of that has any for sale though is PMHerps and I think they are on a five year waiting list.
Good luck,
Milo
