Its really hard for me to look ay snakes that are similar in color to the candy cane and be able to tell what kind of corn it is....any tips?

Its really hard for me to look ay snakes that are similar in color to the candy cane and be able to tell what kind of corn it is....any tips?
if you stare long enough your eyes go cross and you can catch the subtle differences

candy canes are amels (red albinos) that are selectively bred to have red or orange saddles against as white of a background as possible. Many will develop some yellow/orangey color in their white background over time, the "ideal" ones stay white as possible. When there is so much background color that there is very little contrast between it and the saddles, then it's not a candy cane. Some "candy canes" have emoryi blood in them, and you usually won't be able to tell those apart by looking. Hopefully in those cases the seller (if he or she is aware of it) will be honest and refer to them as amel emoryi corns, or creamsicles.
I will post a pic asap and see what you guys think....either way shes beautiful....i named her"sierra nevada" its "sierra" for short
