how can you tell how old a corn snake is?

i recently got a corn from some one who could no longer care for it. before i got it he said it was a bout 2 years old and about 2 1/2 feet long. the snake is actualy about 4 feet how old is it?

Adult; between 3 and 20 years old. Once a corn snake hits adult length (3 years and 3 feet long) there is no simple way to determine age.
