Well my poor baby who had the yolk dangling is still with me, but I'm heading off to work and frankly expect it to have passed on by the time I come home from school. It's skin looks all "wrinkled", it's flaccid and has no ability to move anything (it seems) from about two inches below the snout, I think it has developed an infection and it's umbilical opening is not closed up. It's mouth is open from time to time... ah jeepers, looking at the poor thing I think I ought to put it out of it's misery.
Poor thing. Yep, as I'm looking at it I can't wait until I get home... I think it will go through hours in agony. I'm going to pop it in the freezer now. Normally I'd put it in the refridgerator and later the freezer but then it will just have a low-powered agony all day instead of high powered. The freezer might be painful, but I doubt it will be any more painful than the agony this little guy is going through now.
A sad result for a gorgeous snake.
