got there at about 10 a' clock, first run up the canyon we came across a DOR shovelnose, which is what I was really looking for. Then two minutes later came across a rosy, which suprised me. Never found one night crusing in August, but snapped some pics let him go. Then it was nothing until about 12. Found 4 baby longnose on one run down the canyon, then my "herping partner" fell asleep so we left. All in all it could of been worse. There was some moisture in the air which I think would of yielded some more movement after 12 but anyhow. Cheers.
