keeping a mantis, with my red tail?

high all,
well yesterday on my trip back down from orlando , my dad gave me a praying mantis that was on the front of car, well i got home and reilised i didnt have anywhere to keep him, i put him in my red tails cage, since i was removing him for feeding anyway, well i was wondering do you think it would be safe to keep the mantis in there with the snake? any advice is apprechiated

heh, yeah they are used as a natural pesticide, but my boa isnt a pest =) ,so i should take it out,
lol ,with the scorpian, i give it 3 hours, once he gets his claws around the lil guy, SNAP!

The funny part to all this is that they probably would do great together, being that the mantis has similar husbandry requirments. Such a cohabitation would do best in a naturalistic environment. In such an enclosure, but animals would probably never bother each other.
