YOU know i'm just kiddin, GREAT SNAKE and GREAT PICS!
here's one of those nigra you sold me, not to bad, eh?

brooksi, floridana, however you want to go they are the top of the heap. nothing like 'em. the end.
dave b

cali kings are my fav following shortly behind is the pyro
I remember you had/have an Arizona mt king great loking one to. What is it about ca king you find better than arizona mt king?
I read that Arizonas easier to handle but Ca kings way better eaters and more active . Since you have both do you agree with that?
Thanks
MUTT KINGS, here's one of my latest a BLOTCHED-X-FLORIDANA

.
U-bet i will, mostly in the getula forum tho, too many confrontational conflicts here sometimes, lol!

but goini are my 2nd Fav.

Tough call, I love all my kings. But I'd have to say my 04 Axanthic Brooksi gets the nod. He's a beautiful snake to begin with, and as an added bonus, there's an image of a face on the back of his head.
Steve

That is the sweetest looking snake I've ever seen! Is this a natural occurring variation or is it a creation? Whatever the answer, does anybody have a baby they would be willing to sell?
he has a smiley face penciled on his forehead too, besides the skull Good vs. Evil....C
I don't know if I have a single favorite snake, but the type of kingsnake I like working with the most has got to be the unsurpassable variability of THAYERI.....
Another thing I enjoy is working with multi het Pits, Getula and Milks....You get a variable clutch this way with different morphs.
Calkings too....
But no morphs or hets are needed for Thayeri to produce variable clutches....They do it all the time.....
John Lassiter

that sometimes i like the mexicana complex better than the getula, lol,
I'm with John Lassiter, There's nothing like Variable kingsnakes(thayeri).
Vichris

Grey banded king snakes
Followed by.....
MEXMEX!!!!!
John Lassiter

.
Me too....
They have always been popular with me. Alot of old timers used to work with them then their popularity diminished....I think popularity goes in cycles and Mexicana are increasing in popularity once again.

Big Yeller LOL. I'd be posting a pic of that dude all the time too if I had him. 9 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!
You gotta send me pics of the babies before you post em....LOL
I gotta see what big yeller did for you....
Cant wait to see them Chris....Keep me posted....AND 9 days is a LONG time......LOL
John Lassiter
I do have a fave, and anyone who knows me can guess it is my White Sided Speckled King. However I have more Brooksi than anything and have to fight the urge to get even more. Here's lookin at ya! Tom Stevens

Another snake I really can't say enough about is the Mexican Black King. Here's a shot of my female while gravid this year. These are great snakes to keep... Tom Stevens

But that Mexican Black King is beautiful. I'm thinking the Mexican Black will be my first bought-not-caught. Here's a pic of my baby. She's a wc multicincta from the Sierra Mountains.

Just in case there's any doubt of my favorite...

Just kidding... Killer Tattoo... did you design it?
~ZF
I think they are hard to beat if your looking to have a nice easy going, good eating trouble free animal to enjoy. You just have to look around real hard to find the nice looking real dark ones. Bob.
Well.....
Floridana/Brooksi are my favorite Getula....for now.
The new Splendida and Holbrooki morphs will probably make me enjoy them more than Florida kings since they are the "new" thing......
Then the new Getula morph Rainer, Brandon, You and I are getting will rank up near the top as well......
There's just something special about your first snake, so Cal Kings are always gonna be waaaaaay up there for me. However, lately my Ruthveni obsession has been worsening...
Me and a lot of others would love to see some Ruthies....
Post them over in the Mexicana subforum if you have the time.
I have 2.2 myself...should be breeding my amels next year and my DH for striped amel the year after.....
John Lassiter
Like them both the same.

Female sulfur snow. She has better colors but she to far from the camera to see. Lots of purple on her. Really think this one is a knock out.

Those sulfer snows ARE knock-outs,very nice!
lots of nice snakes guys..........see ya

Like noone knows! Love all that I have but she is hard to beat, allthough my newly acquired MBK's are making it hard to decide...holbrooki?...splendida?...BOTH!
Todd Hughes
P.S. Tom, thanks for the tour and the awesome MBK's. I'm lovin' 'em. Your collection is immaculate and outta this world! Only in Texas! Man what a candy store, LOL!
Having snake people stop by makes enjoying my collection all that much more fun. I know those babies will be well cared for, and that is really important too me. Wait til they get some size on them,,,,they just get glossier and glossier. Hopefully I will see you at the Austin show. Tom Stevens
I never get tired of catching 'em...

F
Foxturtle, that Floridana is GORGEOUS! I've never seen one like that before.
