That's really nice is that from the PB x Hypo as well, i really wanna see it post-shed.

crimsonking Aug 05, 2005 09:53 PM

Thanks!
No, I have no peanut butters.. (Rainer's prices are too high HA!)
It's from the very yellow hypo female X big hypo male.

That is an awesome yellow hypo. Even my wife likes that one, and she isn't a snake person. I guess I'll have to get a pair. Derek

Nokturnel Tom Aug 05, 2005 10:21 PM

That is so nice it brings a tear to my eye.....wow! Tom Stevens

JETZEN Aug 05, 2005 09:30 PM

Very nice! and how is that high count banded cal doing?

crimsonking Aug 05, 2005 09:55 PM

....the Cal king has a near identical sib. I hope they are a pair.

Nokturnel Tom Aug 05, 2005 10:11 PM

That is excellent looking Mark. I don't even know what it is but I love it! I have never seen one quite like that? Tom Stevens

crimsonking Aug 05, 2005 10:20 PM

... I hope his siblings look as good. They usually do. It's a hypo from a female that I once considered "not very good". Can you believe that??
I used to think I liked the solid uni-color hypos more but have grown to like these as well. I think these will turn a bit more yellow as they age than my other lines.
In the past most from this pairing were golden when they hatched so I don't know what these will look like as adults...
Wonder why you get so many different looks from year to year with the same parents.....
I dunno -but I like it!
:Mark

Nokturnel Tom Aug 05, 2005 10:27 PM

I agree with that 100%. It is nice to see many different looks magically appear form the same pairings. I used 4 different males[all similar ] on one female Corn this season and got some super cool Amels. I used the same 4 males on a het Amel and though I know Anery is in 2 of the males and the mother I was still shocked to see a bunch of normals, 6 anerys and 1 Snow. Not exactly the same as getting different looks from the same pairings but the surprise factor is always cool. I love seeing my black Kings hatch,,,,and they're always the same...but surprises are always welcome. You gonna hold back a pair of these and see how they develop? Tom Stevens

crimsonking Aug 05, 2005 10:33 PM

"You gonna hold back a pair of these and see how they develop?"
This looks like a likely candidate, huh?

You know Rainers Eastern X Brooksi....the one that is actually Hypo? Some of the reds on your snake remind me of Rainers Hypo cross. To me it looks like a nice unusual shade not often seen in Kings,,,,it is really sharp. I just mentioned in another post how I have a bunch of Brooksi and fight the urge to keep from buying more. That snake you just hatched.....man if I had 2 come out like that I would DEFINITELY keep them LOL. I really like it...good luck with it bro. Tom Stevens

bluerosy Aug 06, 2005 08:27 AM

this is kind of an evolution of pics from the eastern x hypo brooksi I hatched last year. She also has the high band count.

more recent photo:

This is a normal hypo brooksi and not the eastern x hypo cross. It also has the dark reddish hypo color.

bluerosy Aug 06, 2005 09:05 AM

The first pic is NOT a hypo x eastern. Got the pic order mixed up. She is a normal hypo with dark reds. Should have been placed on the bottom with the other normal hypo brooks pictured.

Sorry.

This one is not as dark but has the higher band count.

These just hatched out early this morning. Still got one in the egg. They are from a hypo to het breeding.

Nothing special about these. Just that since we were on the subject of hypo brooks I thought I would post them since they are a new addition this saturday.
