It kinda depends upon how you use them. Sonic Foggers are a very good tool for raising the humidity of you vivarium as long as the ultrasonic element itself isn't in the tank with the frogs. I've heard of instances of animals being shocked, I've never dealt first hand with this, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Many people have been utilizing the ultrasonic "cool-mist" foggers by running a hose or pvc pipe directly into the vivarium. I use this method for my tincs and fants and it's great. The foggers send out atomized droplets and can give that "fogging morning" effect to a terrarium. Most misters, on the other hand, send out larger droplets of water and are also good for raising humidity. I use misters in my pumilio tanks because they can replenish the bromeliad reservoirs periodically and also wash out old water and replace with fresh. If you are just looking to raise your humidity, however, I would recommend that you use the ultrasonic fogger. This way, not as much water is needed and it won't fill your false bottom reservoir or you gravel bottom up nearly as quickly as a mister would. I got mine at walgreens, and it cost approximately $27. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I was going to set it up ouside the tank in a air tight box, and have the box hooked up to a air pump. Blowing the fog into the tank via a tube or pipe. Would this be enough to water my plants and frogs? or should I mist every now in then also? ~SoBeK~
The fogger will keep the tank pretty moist, but I still mist a couple of times a week with a spray bottle just to make sure the plants get enough water also.
