paint..?

I'll be building my BD cage out of MDF with a glass front and i dont want to leave it unpainted,I'll be useing a water based paint and was wondering on the colour does it matter is a white maybe better,i know its probly a dumb question but i'm a newbe lol.

I really don't think the color matters, though white will make the cage brighter and appear more 'lite' when the lights are on. A dark cage tends to absorb the light and heat. In the long run, paint it to your liking, it doesn't really matter to the dragon.
