Thanks to you guys for literally walking me through this experience. The last of the 6 snakes has emerged. I am knew to this and it is awesome.
I would like to offer you each one of the hatchlings and another next year if I have another sucessful breeding season. But how do I do that? I'm kinda nervous about sending them. Will they be safe? How do I do this?

I think stebbins in his book shows areas in SoCAl that could have northerns? This one was observed in Coastal Los Angeles County.

i'm lookin ata stebbins book right now and n.alligator lizards are not found in so.cal, i was wrong because i remember collecting southerns with greenish heads and northerns with speckled/mottled heads, Alligator lizards are another very varible group, if i was still into lizards i'd have a mess of them, lol
