It is NOT possible to breed your corn to a ball python the two species are on two different sides of the evolutionary ladder. i believe ball X blood is possible,

corn X milk,
corn X king,
corn X rat,
corn X bull,
corn X groper,
king X milk,
king X Rat,

i haven't heard of a milk X Rat/bull/groper but i'm sure its possible.

when breeding does the adult siz of the snake matter(ball python burmese=small burmese)? would that work?

to breed the snakes do you have to trick them?

wher can i buy a hybrid?

what are some easy snakes to get breeding?

does color matter or is it smell?

sorry for wasting your time but i think hybrids are great! i think hybrids will help make snakes in general healthier and stronger. i bet in the future most snakes in captivity will be hybrids bred to be free of diseases, bad tempers and have really amazing colors and patterns.

just fantisising about snakes again didnt mean to bore anybody

1.Ball Pythons and Burmese Pythons are in the same Family of snakes but i really don't think it would be possible to get them to breed... look at the size difference, i don't deal with Boids but when i think of that pairing i think of a house cat trying to mate with a tiger.

2.you can always find Hybrids in the classifieds section of this site.

3. some snakes do need to be tricked in order to breed.

4. easiest snakes 2 get breeding?

I. if you're referring to breeding pure species i think it's pretty easy with any snake species.

II. if you're referring to hybrids, there are always set backs and successes it all depends on the snakes you're working with.

5. color or smell?
i think similar snake species have a certain smell that separates them from other species, so that would explain why tricking is necessary.

Corns are eggs layers and garters are live bearing. So it won't work.

Do you know if anyone has tried garter x ribbon or garter x watersnake?

I have never heard of a cross but then I am not a garter snake guy.

I would think the two would have crossed in nature since they occur in the same locales.. Anyone have any experience with this?

The male is driven to the female by pheromones, so scent is the major factor in arousal. I have had success by scenting with another female or using a freshly shed skin.
