Trouble getting rid of hatchlings? Please Help Breeders.

palex134 Aug 06, 2005 05:54 PM

So im looking to get 1.1 beardies. I know their care and Im thinking of breeding them. These will just be normal adults. I am wondering if people have trouble selling all the hatchlings from a few clutches a year. Im peobably going to seperate the two if they have more than 2 clutches a year As i dont want to be over run with beardies. Any suggestions. Thanks

There are litterally hundreds of beautiful, colorful bearded dragons available atm (just check out the classifieds). I would think getting a dull pair of normals would be almost impossible to sell off their offspring unless they are from new genetic lines or something like that that would be marketable.

And I just wanted to remind you that lizards won't necessarily stop laying fertile eggs after 2 clutches just because you seperate them... they can continue laying more fertile eggs even after they have been seperated.

Good luck.
