when does an egg get fertilized?

harlanm Aug 06, 2005 06:26 PM

i had to separate my male from my female gargoyle a few months back because of a prolapse. he has since healed, but all the eggs she laid when he was gone were infertile eggs. i put them back together about two weeks ago and i belive she will be laying this coming week. did they go back together and mate too late for her eggs to get fertilized this time around?

They very well could be fertile as it's about the right time frame.

Good luck!
