She was measured at 51 inches 18 months ago. Haven't tried to measure her since then.

That's a nice one! Thanks for the pic! BTW: my biggest cal king is also a (striped brown/yellow) female at 49" currently. She laid 14 HUGE eggs (and only 1 slug) for me this year. Should be hatching any day now.

A desert phase female that I raised from a hatchling for 15 yrs.
She was 65" (just under 5 and a half feet) on her 15th year when she unfortunatly met an untimely demise when she escaped and ended up in an indigo snake cage. The was a sad day.
I'll see if I can dig up a pic or 2, but not sure I have any of her full body length stetched out.

I'm quite sure of the measurement, I measured her every 6 mos or so.

Wow! 65"! That's HUGE! That IS too bad that she ended up in the wrong cage. I recently had a female E. King escape but found her FAR away from my Indigo - She was found going headfirst into the trash can in the kitchen, LOL!

My girl's clutch this year was 16 beautiful eggs. Of those, 2 went bad, and the first baby out of the egg stretched out next to the egg and died (?) The 13 remaining babies hatched out fine. I think the longest one was 15 or 16 inches straight out of the shell. Beautiful babies! I posted their pictures further down in this forum.

Here is my male coastal phase cal king. Last measurement he was 54" and that was in January. This pic is from about 20 min ago and Im sure he is longer than 54" now. Im 5'11" so you can see he is a decent sized cal king. He is 5 years old this year.

Nice sized CalKing there, mine measures also at 54". He is at least 8 or 9 years old though. I'll try to get a picture up soon, my lens cover on my camera all of a sudden only flutters and wont open all the way, have to get it fixed.
