i decided to toss the 6ft vision cage because it was too damn hard to heat. i just ordered the 6ft long model by cages by design. i've heard that these cages are incredible and east to heat, i had 2 dome fixtures custom built on top of one side to really get it hot. i'll post pics when it gets hear, and after i put it together....

Not to rain on your parade but I hope that they've improved the quality of their cages over the past few years. I ordered one of their more expensive cages a few years ago and it was junk. It was not much more than peg board and plywood that I could get at home depot for far cheaper. And on top of that, it had a bunch of missing pieces so I couldn't even put the damn thing together. Needless to say I sent it back (despite the fact that it cost me a bunch of money in shipping). I'd never ever do business with them again.

I haven't heard much about Cages By Design. Never saw any, wither. What did you originally order from them?

that's good to know, but my brother bought their $2800 cage about 6 months ago and the cage is crazy. i have never seen a nicer, more quality cage than his. mine is only the $1600 model but it's the same quality just a smaller size cage. i've heard their earlier cages weren't that great, but you should check them out now, they're awesome!
