I have 2 store bought dragons when i first bought them they were about 5 inches an now they about 12-15 inches one was a reddish an the other was a light brown/yellow color... Now most of the time the reddish is brown with a little red in her an the other one looks like a regular one. is this something im doing wrong? i feed the crickets an mealworms an they get dusted about 2-3 times a week. im new to the world of bearded dragons an looking to continue can anyone please help
Thanks in advance

could be many things. Some bearded dragons do lose their color as they grow naturally. Could be lack of color pigments in food (ie carrots, red or yellow flowers etc). Some pellet diets are designed now to include pigments to help reptiles maintain their color. Not sure if this is all hoax or based in fact or a bit of both. A strong UVB light or natural sunlight can also bring colors out in dragons.
