New Western Hognose Photo.. First Hog.

Turtlequest Aug 07, 2005 12:16 PM

First, I need a better camera. I am not happy with the Sony Cybershot 5.0. Only 1 out of 5 photos taken come out non-blurry.

Anyway. Here is my new W. Hognose. What do you guys think??

Also, a feeding question. How long should i wait to feed it after taking it home from the show. I tried to fee it today (the day after), but all it does is hiss at the pinky (is this normal). The person who sold it to me said it ate 3x, but who really knows. I'm thinking the stress of being at the reptile show, the stress of being driven 2.5 hours back to my house, and the stress of being in a new enclosure might halt its eating for a couple days. Should I try feeding it again in a week?

Don't rush the feeding, so yes, wait a week.

Blurriness is always a problem with small animals. Make sure you are using the macro feature, bring in some extra light, and use a tripod. Good luck.
