Bushmaster Aug 07, 2005 12:22 PM

I have 6 FBN and I am thinking in use sand as substrate in their aquarium. Is that ok or would I have problems with impaction? Thanks

In the context of aquariums, "sand" can mean a lot of different things. Fine sand is generally not a problem because if they swallow some it passes through easily. Larger sand, the gravelly type, should be avoided.
