Flex Watt

sweetleaf Aug 07, 2005 02:11 PM

I got some Flex Watt and a temp controler at the Hamburg show. I neglected to ask the best way to apply it to the (glass aquarium) enclosure. Can I tape it right to the bottom, or put it in the space between the plywood stand top and Aq Bottom?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Mark Blanchard

I use Flexwatt on a helix thermostat in my 60 gallon uromastyx enclosure. I taped it to the underside of the bottom glass with silver foil 'furnace' tape. It doesn't turn on often, it only turns on when the the 160 watt UV basking lamp dies (which is about every 3 months).

The good people at the Bean Farm have instructions for flexwatt use & wiring on their website

good luck
