Opening Mouth after eating!?!

Kinglvr Aug 07, 2005 04:29 PM

I've noticed when I feed my 7 mth. old Hypo Brooksi that after she's done eating, she will open her mouth WIDE, it looks almost like a yawn. She also does it sometimes after she drinks. I know that mouth opening can usually be an indication of a respiratory illness, but she NEVER does it any other times, just right after she's done eating and drinking (sometimes). She'll do it a couple times, then she'll be fine. Anyone else ever seen this before?

No need to worry she's just realigning her bottom Jaw... there are other times they yawn just out the clear blue... i guess it's just like when we yawn/stretch spontaneously
