Greetings, an Introduction

DonkeyLover Aug 07, 2005 05:41 PM

I will be a proud owner of a bouncing bitey baby Anaconda within the end of the week. Not being a stranger to finger and arm hungry snakes, I decided to plunge head first and buy two Green Anacondas by mail order. I have another in reserve with Mr. Haller and look forward to this one especially.

The second snake with the Berm in the photo below I call a "Boa Constrictor." This snake is a rescue from a shelter. The animal had countless injuries to the skin. I suspect dog/animal attack as the mechanism of injury. Topical antibiotics, soaking and several sheds within a month or so resulted in an apparent healthy snake with many healed wounds. Think I'll keep her/him.

Welcome to forum!! Nice burm there. Like the deep red patches. Here's a pic of my girl. I'll try and get a newer pic tomorrow.

Thanks. Your snake is a beauty. I bought Rikki several years ago. Here's another pic.

I have been advised by the shipper I will receive the two (2) Anacondas tomorrow. Hopefully Anaconda pictures will be forthcoming.
