Nice Annulata Russ....
Here is one I collected on Jan. 1 of this year down in Jim Wells Co.,TX 6 days after the first snow ever on Xmas eve and morning. A whopping 6 to 8 inches of snow for south Texas. Found this male in a firewood pile on New Year's Day.
Still looking for a mate.......

Holy cow!!! Just amazing that you found that little duffer alive!
Me and a buddy keep talking about getting down to kansas and herpin with our cameras but has not happen yet. I'm from neb and he is from Ia. Is there a bag limit in tex? I don't think you can collect in kansas. Russ

In Texas you must have a hunting license and a special permit if want to collect more than ten of one species....But I don't think I will ever want to pillage like that.....LOL
I have found 2 DORs in the same area.....One with nice Tangerine bands instead of the dirty whitish/yellow.
My buddy found a nice big one a few miles from this locale in the next county...
Thanks for the compliment,

I forgot to mention that on Jan. 1 of this year it was 80 degrees outside.....just 6 days after a white Christmas.....That is South Texas weather for you..
