Common snapper tank

what is the smallest size tank a common snapper could live in?

I remember reading that a small adult common snapper can do ok in a 125 gallon tank but thats pushing it. I also read that a 200 gallon tank would be ok for a larger adult snapper.

it really depends on size. starting in a 10 gallon. in a year the turtle should be about 4". in another 4 years it should be 8". this shows that you should have time before going to a 200 gallon tank. picture yourself in a proportionate room and think if you would have enough space. just remember that the animal has no choice in this so do the best for it that you can.
