I work at a petstore and a customer recently returned a fire belly toad. the frog is skinny, listless, and shedding, which is the case with most starving frogs. I've got him in an environment that is suitable for a firebelly toad and threw some crickets in there, he's too weak to even move. I've been forcefeeding him some wet canned catfood through a tiny siringe. he has a heat lamp on him, but i'm worried that because he cant get to his water dish, hes going to dry out. any suggestions thus far? i'm really working hard to keep him alive, atleast he's swallowing his food, but thats pretty much it. i've been misting him round the clock while i'm on an 8 hour shift at work. someone please help. he's terribly sick and i'm not sure what to do. i'm putting reptile ointment on his eyes because he cant open them, the poor little guy is deteriorating right before my eyes....
