I set up a trade about a week ago with a lady that had a female BT. We agreed that we would trade my ackie for her Blackthroat. Well I shipped out the ackie last week and she said she shipped the BT but she never did. She has stopped answering my emails so basically I got ripped off...Now my question is, Is there anything that I can do? I have all the emails she sent me and her adress. I just want to know if theres anything I can do? She lives out in california and im in Florida...

first you need to find were in ca she lives, get the number for the local sheriffs office and file a formal complaint wit them, get ahold of your lawyer they will be ale to give you more advice then we can, but do get ahold of the local athoritys out here in ca , they will be able to help you more, and for some advice i wouldnt ever trade anything over the mail with soeone i had never met i dont care how many emails we have sent back in forth or even if we talked on the phone, its just not the most inteligent thing to do , dont take me rong im not saying your not smart , but i just wouldnt do it,

Ya I definitely learned my lesson. Im going to try to go to the police department here and see what I can do. I have her adress and everything since I shipped out my ackie to her. Shes in laguna hills.

I believe that since it is across state lines, it is a federal offense. I got ripped off from someone from the east coast and I live here in CA. I filed with the feds, and the guy went to jail and had to bond out. His trial is waiting for him. I would write her and tell her briefly, that this is a federal crime and she is looking at getting into a lot of trouble, possible jail.
