I purchased one of my adult male dragons "Turbo" about a year ago and he was probably midway between being a juvi and an adult (I'm not really sure exactly how old he is) and has always been kindof a quiet guy. He is only really active during the early morning hours when I first turn his lights on and for the rest of the day he is just a lazy guy basking and hiding. He is fed PLENTY and offered crix and what not but just doesnt seem interested. A few months ago I had a female housed with him and when she was in the tank he was crazy! He would run all over the place, eat NON-STOP, and was just in general very active. Now what is starting to worry me is that he is just kinda depressed. He never eats while I am in the room (besides maybe a few bites and then he runs back and basks) He is not loosing weight or looking bad or anything, but I never see him eat so I dont know what is going on or how he is keeping his weight up. He *looks* good to me. No drooping eyes, he is one of the few dragons that will drink out of a bowl in his cage and everything seems normal, but like I said I NEVER see him eat. I just put a new hide box in his cage a few minutes ago and he was QUICK to dig deep down into the sand in the box and completely bury himself. I guess I will just leave him alone and see what happens if he will even come out on his own tomorrow.

Is this normal after breeding (about 6-7 weeks ago now) for them to kinda "chill out" and not be as active? Like I said when the female was in the tank he would almost fight her for food, but now he doesnt seem interested. Not even by hand feeding. *shrug* Nothing is different other then the fact that she isnt in the tank anymore. Ideas? All of my other dragons (none of which are really as old as Turbo) are still eating like pigs, they LOVE greens more then crix for the most part which I am very proud of and are still active as all hell. I am just worried about my Turbo as he is the oldest of the group and I have had him for the longest amount of time. What could be wrong to make him not interested in eating anymore?
