Bulge-O-Snake

I have had Motega since November. He turned a year old 7/22/05. I gave him his first adult mouse 8/5/05 Friday night. He is about 32 inches long. I usually wait 2 days before handling and the lump disappears within 36 hours. I checked him a little while ago and I can still see a lump (it has gone down by half and is maybe extending his body out by a quarter of his width). Is that okay? Can I handle him since it has been 2 days or should I leave him be until the lump is gone? Just when ya think ya know what yer doin' too. Any comments are good. Thanks.

Just to be safe, I would wait till the lump is down.

If you happen to feed f/t, I would suggest maybe trying to cut about 3 or 4 slits down the back of the mouse after thawing. This will help with quicker/easier digestion. I do this will all of my snakes. It makes a BIG difference.

Thanks. I'll try that.
